Although these Wood Ducks were hanging out at King's Pond at the nearby Cedar Hill Golf Course,  I'm sure (?) they would visit Beacon Hill Park while migrating around.  These were tonemapped with Photomatix Pro.

A few pics from a spring walk at the park.

Only one of these images was processed with Photomatix Pro, but not a huge amount.  They all had some processing in ACR (as they were underexposed) and sharpness and contrast adjustments but look pretty well like the NEFs.  What a lovely day!

Been so long.....

Finally, a new entry of ducks & friends.  I've been busy with pics over at India 2012 and my 'assorted India picture archive. '
Anyway, here are a few recent pics.  I have used Photomatix Pro and an image editor to work with these a bit, but the tones are pretty accurate.
