It's been a while.....

 I just headed to Beacon Hill Park for a couple of hours the other day, and the ducks are showing up in quantities....and certainly had quite the appetites getting ready for winter.  So, as usual, took some pics and happily paid the 'modeling fees' with black sunflower seeds.

A few friends at Goodacre Lake.

Among the other constants of Beacon Hill Park are the crows. They are so great to watch, and they like to watch us too. I always make an effort to take pics of them if they're hanging around when I'm taking pics of the ducks. Some often like to hang out at the little bridge and waterfall on Goodacre Lake, near a duck feeding spot.  So here are a few of our constant companions.

A small cheat..

Yes, I'm 'cheating' on the Beacon Hill Park ducks.....by putting up some pics from a stop at King's Pond, at the Victoria Golf Course.  These were hanging around out of the sun, floating around in the shade of reflections of some lovely green trees.
